- Write MASH across the top of a page. It stands for Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House.
- Under it, make a few lists with four choices each: who you marry, how many kids, your job, your ride, your pet. A friend gets to add one bad choice to each list.
- Close your eyes and draw a spiral until your friend says stop. Count the lines across the spiral. That is your magic number.
- Count through every choice on the page, starting with the M. Cross out the one you land on, then keep counting from the next one.
- When a list has one choice left, circle it and skip that list from then on. Keep going until every list has a circle. That is your future.

MASH stands for Mansion, Apartment, Shack, House. Those are the four places you might live, and they are the first list in every game. The letters get counted and crossed out like everything else on the page, so the last letter standing is your home.
How do you play MASH?
Write MASH at the top and make lists of four choices under it. Draw a spiral and count its lines to get your magic number. Count through every choice, cross out the one you land on, and circle the last choice left in each list. The circles are your future.
How do you pick the number in MASH?
On paper, one player draws a spiral with their eyes closed until the other says stop, then counts the lines across it. Here you use a paper fortune teller: pick a color, pick a number, then pick one more. You can also hold a button to draw a spiral, or just tap a number from 3 to 10.
Is this MASH game free?
Yes. It is free, there is no account to make and there are no ads on this page. Nothing you type leaves your device: the lists and your fortune stay in your browser, and they are gone when you close the page.
