How a season works

  1. You get dealt fiveOne random walk-on at every position. Could be Abraham Lincoln at center. Could be a frog.
  2. Spend your $15 capEvery position has one player at each price, $5 down to $1. Spend it where it counts.
  3. Sixteen gamesYou watch the games play out like a broadcast, with a trade deadline after game 8.
  4. Survive the playoffsEight teams get in, and every round is a series. New York, LA, Chicago and Boston are stacked. Titles are rare.
A game 1 result in the game: You 119, St. Louis Riverboats 113, with the line “You beat the St. Louis Riverboats 119-113. Leif Erikson had 38 points and 2 steals.”
Do you play the games? No. You build the team and the games play themselves. A game is a result like this one, then Next game, and a whole season takes a few minutes. No energy timers, and nothing to buy that helps you win.
