How do I share my list with someone I live with?

Go to Settings and tap Send my list, then send it however you like. On their phone, they tap Open a list someone sent and pick the file.

Your two lists combine, and nothing on either phone is lost. When they send theirs back, you get their completions too.

I got a new phone. How do I bring my list?

On the old phone, tap Send my list in Settings and send it to yourself. On the new phone, tap Open a list someone sent and pick that file.

Photos stay on the old phone, so take a new one of anything you still need.

I have no idea when I last did some of these.

That’s normal, especially in a house that’s new to you. Pick a rough guess, or tap No idea. The first time you actually mark it done, the real date takes over.

Where do the intervals come from?

Common guidance from manufacturers and safety groups like the NFPA and EPA, for a typical home. Your house, your climate and your manuals know better, so change any of them from the task.

The monthly suggestion never shows up.

Check that Monthly suggestion is on in Settings, and that notifications are allowed for Home Cadence in your phone’s settings. It comes on the first Saturday of the month, in the morning.
