Home Cadence privacy policy

Short version: there’s no account, no server and no analytics. Everything you put into Home Cadence stays on your phone, and the Android app doesn’t even have permission to go online.
Who this covers
This policy covers the Home Cadence app, made by Pettigrew Lab LLC, on iPhone and Android.
What the app keeps on your phone
Your home’s name, your tasks and how often they come around, when you did them, any notes, sizes and model numbers you add, the photos you take for a task, and your settings.
All of it is saved on your phone, inside the app. It isn’t sent to us, and we can’t see it.
Photos are saved as a smaller copy inside the app, so deleting the original from your camera roll doesn’t lose it.
On Android, the app’s data is included in your phone’s backup if you have backup turned on, under your Google account. On iPhone, it’s part of your phone’s own backup if you use one, under your Apple account.
Sharing your list
When you send your list to someone, the app makes a file on your phone and hands it to your phone’s share menu. The file holds your tasks, when they were done and your notes. Photos aren’t included.
Where it goes from there is up to you, and we don’t see it.
The monthly suggestion
The monthly suggestion is a notification your phone schedules for itself. Nothing is sent anywhere to make it happen, and you can turn it off in Settings.
Camera and photos
The app only asks for your camera or photos when you add a picture to a task, and it only keeps the picture you pick.
What the app doesn’t do
There’s no account and nothing to sign into, so we don’t have your name or your email unless you write to us yourself.
There are no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking.
The app doesn’t ask for your location, microphone or contacts.
Kids
Home Cadence is made for adults running a home and isn’t directed at children under 13.
Deleting your data
Tap Erase everything in Settings, or uninstall the app, and everything it saved is gone. There’s nothing on our side to delete, because nothing was sent to us.
If you email us
If you write to the address below, we have your email and whatever you put in the message, and we keep it only as long as it takes to answer you.
If this changes
If a future version collects anything new, this page is updated before that version ships, and the date at the top changes.
