Who this covers

This policy covers the That One Time app, made by Pettigrew Lab LLC, on every device it runs on.

What the app stores

The stories you write: the first line, any details, the point if you add one, the topics you give them, when they happened, and when and to whom you’ve told them.

All of it is kept in a database on your device, inside the app. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else, and we can’t see it.

Photos

When you add a photo to a story, the photo stays in your photo library. The app keeps only a reference to it, so it knows which photo goes with which story. It never copies your photos or uploads them anywhere.

Small previews are made while the app is open and are not saved. If you delete a photo, the story keeps its words and shows that the photo is no longer on this phone.

On iPhone the app asks for access to your photo library the first time you add a photo. You can give it access to only some photos. On Android it uses the system photo picker, which does not ask for access to your whole library.

What the app does not do

There’s no account and nothing to sign into, so we don’t have your name or your email.

There are no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no tracking, and nothing in the app reports on anyone.

The app never goes online. On Android it doesn’t have permission to use the internet at all.

Nothing rewrites your stories. There’s no AI in the app.

Copies you make

Save a copy makes one file with every story, and Share or print your stories makes a document. Both happen only when you tap them, and the file goes wherever you send it: Files, Drive, an email, a message. From then on it’s governed by wherever you put it.

How it’s protected

Your stories are protected by your phone’s own lock. If someone can unlock your phone, they can open the app.

Deleting the app deletes the stories on that phone. Save a copy first if you want to keep them.

For the store forms

No data collected. No data shared with third parties. The app does not collect personal information, location, contacts, or device identifiers, and does not use advertising IDs.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be here with a new date. A change that sends anything off your phone would need a new version of the app first, and this page would say so before it shipped.
